About Us

WHO WE ARE

Leadership for Sustainable Development (LSD) is a Lebanese Non-Governmental Organization that was founded in 2013 to respond to the needs of marginalized people in Lebanon. The organization aims to promote social justice and human rights for all and encourage women and youth civic engagement.

WHAT WE DO

LSD organizes programs that enhance cultural and religious dialogue, empowers women and youth, facilitates conflict resolution, and provides leadership building trainings and workshops. The organization also conducts research studies on leadership and sustainable development, publishes them, and provides consultancy in political, social, and economic topics.

VISION AND MISSION

Our vision is to actively contribute to the social and economic development of the communities in which we operate. We aim to be an organization that continually responds to changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge, towards the development of sustainable societies that promote and protect equality, social justice, and human rights for all.

Our mission is to work towards the promotion of the aims and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and all related charters. We organize programs that enhance cultural and religious dialogue and intellectual exchange between world civilizations, in addition to building individual leadership capabilities and reinforcing their awareness of their rights.

ORGANIZATION BELIEFS
